I don’t know what category this blog entry will be. It’ll end up being a mixture of rant and biblical thoughts which probably doesn’t create the sweetest blend of mentail stimulation but it certainly provides some sort of mental stimulation.
Checking my cell phone’s instant messenger application every five minutes to see if someone new popped on doesn’t seem to pass the time quick enough and after finishing up all the work I’ve been able to finish up, I wait in my chair browsing various websites that I haven’t visited in ages while my stomach ferociously growls at me. My one hour break could not come any sooner.
At this moment, our tech guy is working on installing my co-workers new computer and after he’s done with that, I will inherit her old one. Don’t feel bad for me, it’s a powerful Mac. I’m just a little curious to see how Final Cut Pro will manage on this computer that doesn’t have the Duo-Core Intel Processor. That’s what my MacBook runs with and it lasted fairly well up until something unknown began to waste my precious laptop away. Photoshop and video editing software is completely different beast. That’s putting it gently. (more…)

1 In the third year of the reign of Jehoiakim king of Judah, Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came to Jerusalem and besieged it. 2 And the Lord delivered Jehoiakim king of Judah into his hand, along with some of the articles from the temple of God. These he carried off to the temple of his god in Babylonia [a] and put in the treasure house of his god. ~Daniel 1:1
While reading this short passage, God showed me something interesting. The King of Babylon (I don’t feel like trying to spell either of these kings’ names) came and besieged, or surround, Jerusalem and he eventually got his hands on and took articles of God out of the temple and put them in his gods’ temple.
Essentially, God had some things stolen from Him. Being that He is God, how did that happen? He let them steal His stuff. If there is one thing I do know about God, it’s that He has a purpose for things. I believe His purpose was that He was going to have to raise up some men, which you read about later in this chapter, to get His stuff back.
Campus Harvest: Day 1 03/27/2009

An early morning flight started the day for my trip to Campus Harvest in Raleigh/Durham, North Carolina. The flights themselves were cool. When we were checking our bags in for the Skycap service, the man was very rude in the way he was demanding the tip that we already knew to give him.
The icing on the cake for the flight was after we landed, I found that Southwest lost my luggage. As of writing this, I still don’t have my luggage back so I am going to have to go to Wal-Mart and get some things.
The event itself was great. The worship was solid as Jon Owens lead the worship. The speaker tonight was Steven Hollander and I’ll post my thoughts on that at another time since I am literally about to fall asleep on my keyboard right now.

After years and years on Livejournal, I am making the switch to WordPress. It’s not completely that WordPress is the better blog source but that my Livejournal became very cluttered. I never used tags on the site and I never kept it clean. Not only that, I’ve been switching themes over and over. LJ does not have that many themes to choose from although I find that LJ has more customizing options compared to WordPress.
This is my new home and new place to post all my thoughts and updates concerning my life, art and thoughts on the bible.
